The scholarship awards range from $500 to $3,000 each and are based on available funds. The scholarships will be awarded on any or a combination of:

• Academic performance

• Community service and leadership activities

• Financial need and work ethics

• Athletic achievements

The applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be at least 25% of Chinese ethnicity.

• Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States of America (USA).

• Be a student who is a member of an Oregon high school graduating class with a minimum of four semesters or two years of attendance in the State of Oregon.

• Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

• Will attend an accredited college or university in the USA.

• Have community service and leadership activities in the application which can be validated with the organization for the activity and number of volunteer hours.
